Henna

The FDA had recently reported the danger with Henna – a reddish-brown color ink, derived from plants, used for temporary tattoo. On the market today, people have been seen using “black henna” instead of the traditional dye. “Black henna” is a combination of henna and other ingredients, usually containing p-phenylenediaine (PPD), which is used to create a longer lasting temporary tattoo. However, PPD can cause dangerous allergic reactions to users. It is not intended to be used on skin.
